The Wrong-Note March, v2 — a scherzo for violin and viola (G major, 4/4, quarter = 112; about two and a half minutes, 61 bars; the full score fits on one page). Revised 2026-10-14 for Graham (viola) and a beginner violin friend, for Classical Jams Austin. Same tune, oom-pah and call-and-answer as v1, trio cut. The wrong note is now a running gag: the advanced viola keeps playing an A-flat, holds it, a beat of silence, and the beginner violin plays the right note — a plucked A; then D, D, D; then a long held A while the viola barges into the tune — and the march carries straight on. Both pluck the final G chord, the viola sneaks one more A-flat, and the violin plucks open G for the last word. Draft v2 — verdict pending.
